Huon’s Work Health & Safety team has an exciting brand new opportunity for a part-time Administration guru passionate about helping others to join our Hobart based team as Safety Administrator.

About you and role

Joining our team of WHS professionals who are committed to upholding and educating others on best practice health, safety, and wellbeing, you will partner with our Health & Injury Management Advisor and assist the broader WHS team across Huon.

You are known as an office guru who takes pride in making life easier for others by managing behind the scenes and can:

  • Manage multiple shared mailboxes ensuring the very best communication and stakeholder management with your team, our people, and external providers including specialists and medical practitioners.
  • Schedule and coordinate medical appointments that best suit individual situations and support best outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoice and billing process management.
  • Provide high quality administration support to our Work Health & Safety team.

Operating 3 days a week, this opportunity is primarily based at our Collins Street office and will jump in the car to visit our different sites as needed from time to time. You:

  • Have broad administration experience within a Safety or Injury Management team and have a sound understanding of the processes, environment, and support mechanisms required to be successful.
  • Are exceptionally organised and have demonstrated experience managing your time effectively to carry large caseloads.
  • Are a confident communicator who effectively manages stakeholders at all levels and builds meaningful rapport.
  • Uphold the highest levels of confidentiality to ensure privacy and professionalism.
  • Have advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
