A fantastic opportunity to ensure value-added and effective delivery of People Experience & Culture throughout Shepparton Retirement Villages to improve operational performance and great customer outcomes.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Manager People Experience & Culture will make our service users a high priority, provide oversight of our highly valued volunteers. The role will require a high degree of creativity and innovation, linking multi-platform content that aligns with key organisational objectives, whilst promoting the Shepparton Villages values and coordinating partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice to management and staff on all areas of HR, including award interpretation, recruitment and retention, performance, disciplinary and leave management.
  • Developing operational and strategic HR plans and reports.
  • Ensuring all people-related policies and procedures are current and are of best practice.
  • Providing leadership to the HR Team.
  • Oversee Health & Safety (H&S).
  • Representing the CEO at Residential Care Resident Meetings.
  • Oversee the end to end recruitment function
  • In consultation with the CEO Develop and implement high quality marketing/advertising materials and communications 
  • Overseeing both the employee and customer experience programs, including the Consumer Advisory Body (CAB).

Key Selection Criteria:
Essential:

  • Proven ability to successfully develop and implement strategies, processes and policies.
  • Expertise in stakeholder engagement; ability to influence and collaborate diplomatically.
  • A deep understanding of employee relations, awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team, operating at a senior executive level;
  • Degree qualified in HR Management or Industrial Relations;
  • Membership of/or Eligibility for membership to the Australian Human Resources Institute at the MAHRI level or above;
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a senior human resource management position.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the principles of marketing

Desirable

  • Experience in Aged Care, health or not for profit sector;
  • Post graduate qualifications in HR Management
