Correspondence management is a vital customer service function within the City of Sydney. It is a key part of our strategy to strengthen customer service values and achieve our Sustainable Sydney 2030 plan for a green, global and connected city.

As a Senior Correspondence and Briefings Officer within the City's Media and Communications team, you will work closely with City staff to write, edit and track high-level correspondence and briefing notes, develop knowledge of specific City poliies and/or operational areas, and maintain and improve business processes within agreed service performance levels.

You will be a hands-on professional with strong relationship building skills and demonstrated experience working in a high-pressure environment. Exceptional writing and editing skills, excellent negotiation and time management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and tertiary qualifications in communications or humanities will be necessary for this challenging senior role.
