Ambulance Victoria's mission is to improve the health of our community by delivering innovative, high quality ambulance services. Ambulance Victoria (AV) currently has an exciting 12 month fixed term opportunity for a Project Manager to join the People Services division, in a full-time capacity based in our Doncaster office. 

The role of the Project Manager is to plan and manage People Services transformation projects and programs to support the successful delivery of key HR initiatives into Ambulance Victoria.  This role will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle inclusive of project planning, liaising closely with internal and external stakeholders and coordination of required resources to achieve project objectives, organisational priorities and improve business performance. 

About the role

Reporting to the Director, People Services you will autonomously lead and manage multiple end to end, People Services transformation projects, and deliver contemporary HR service solutions that support organisational priorities and improve People Service performance. 

Essential to the role is the ability to provide clear and transparent communication, develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and resolve issues in a timely manner in order to successfully achieve project outcomes. 

In line with AV's Project and Change Framework, you will ensure projects and deliverables are implemented as per approved project plans and outcomes are embedded into policies and procedures to ensure long term benefits realisation.

You will gather, analyse and interpret data and reporting to support project solution design, delivery and decision making to ensure superior business outcomes for the current and future needs of People Services are met. 

About you

You are a subject matter expert with proven conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills.  You have considerable project management knowledge and skills, with experience delivering strategic projects in a HR or public sector environment. 

You use your strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills to gain the acceptance of your progressive ideas and the cooperation of others. You have the ability to build effective and efficient project support capability by coaching and mentoring dedicated and non-dedicated project staff to achieve project outcomes.

The salary range is between $109,797 to $125,483.
