RTW Program Development Officer

About the role

This role will be required to maintain oversight, manage and lead day to day activities arising from the current Occupational Rehabilitation (OR) contract and service model, deliver training for new OR consultants and respond to queries from providers and Agents. The role may also be required to work on other RTW programs and projects that arise due to business needs and emerging issues, including Strategic Priorities and WorkSafe 2030 programs.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve performance and leading the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establishing and maintaining key relationships with a broad range of stakeholders internally & externally.
  • Coordinating and conducting file reviews / health checks / audits and providing formal reports and feedback.
  • Creating, gathering information and presenting at stakeholder forums for mentoring and coaching purposes.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • You will be experienced and confident in the preparation of project plans, agendas, minutes, reports and presentations.
  • You will have highly developed leadership, communication and prioritisation skills.
  • Proactivity identifies organisational risks and strategic thinking and decision making skills to implement multi faced programs, systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Novus and ACCtion systems and Occupational Rehabilitation or Insurance Agent experience would be advantageous.
