About the opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow attached to the Women, Work & Leadership Research Group (WWLRG) in the University of Sydney Business School on a multidisciplinary project with colleagues across the Business School and the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading scholars in a leading University on a unique project, seed funded by the University of Sydney, on young women and the future of work.

The WWLRG at the University of Sydney Business School undertakes research into all aspects of women and work. Rae Cooper will be the post-doctoral researcher’s supervisor. The project builds on phase one of the mixed method project (2016/2018) to:

  • Write academic presentations and papers
  • Undertake additional field work to build on the insights;
  • Understand the attitudes and roles of key industry stakeholders toward women’s working futures;
  • Prepare grant applications with a view to building the sustainability of the project;
