Disability Services provides supported accommodation for people who have an intellectual disability at various locations, including three supported accommodation sites at Stockton Centre, Kanangra Centre and Tomaree Lodge.

Our vision is to empower all people to live fulfilling lives and achieve their potential in inclusive communities. We collaborate with government, non-government and community partners to work with children, adults, families and communities to improve lives and realise potential, with a focus on breaking, rather than managing, disadvantage.
About the role / About the Opportunity
The HR Officer role is to deliver high quality HR services, advice, projects and initiatives to help build and sustain workforce capabilities, culture and leadership enabling FACS to deliver on strategic priorities and reform.
We are recruiting to fill temporary full time roles from this advertisement and plan to create a recruitment pool from which vacancies will be filled over the next (12) months, in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013.
The implementation of the NDIS is a generational change to the provision of disability services. It is changing the way that disability supports are provided and the NSW Government is transferring services to the non-government sector. If you are successful in obtaining a role that either directly provides or is indirectly related to the provision of disability services, your employment may be impacted by the transfer of services to the non-government sector.
