What you'll be doing
The Recovery at Work Coordinator is a key member of the Workplace Safety and Wellbeing team and will work closely with all stakeholders to manage the end to end the return to and recovery at work of employees who have both work related and non-work related injury/illness.

The Recovery at Work Coordinator provides practical guidance and assistance to management and staff participating in SCHN Recovery at Work programs to ensure workers with work related and non-work related injury/illnesses achieve timely, safe and durable return to work outcomes.

  1. Experience in workplace rehabilitation or tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or other health related field, or equivalent work experience
  2. Working knowledge of and demonstrated experience in Workers Compensation Legislation and WorkCover Guidelines, claims management and risk management
  3. Possess or willing to obtain a NSW WorkCover Return to Work Coordinators Certificate
  4. -Demonstrated high level verbal communication skills, including the capacity to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
  5. Excellent written communication and administrative and skills with proven report writing experience
  6. Demonstrated excellent time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload with competing priorities
  7. Current drivers licence (with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position)
