Two positions available. This role is site negotiable - Tweed or Richmond area. The successful candidate for the Tweed position will primarily focus on workforce planning for the new Tweed Valley Hospital.

Providing support and guidance to managers and staff on workforce related matters including complaint and disciplinary management, industrial issues and consultation, workforce planning, change management, performance and development management and HR coaching and education/training.

  1. Relevant degree in human resources management or industrial relations or related field and/or demonstrated experience in human resource management in a large and diverse organisation.
  2. Demonstrated experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions, including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, performance management and development and workforce planning.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare detailed and structured correspondence, statements, briefs, reports and formal documents on behalf of NNSWLHD.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in a team environment within a complex organisation to support strategic and business outcomes.
  5. Demonstrated high level problem-solving skills and related experience, with capability to influence decision-making.
  6. Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards, policy and best practice relating to human resources and industrial relations in the NSW Health system to identify and resolve complex human resources issues.
  7. Valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel throughout the LHD in the course of employment.
