Head of Social Action, Global Citizenship and Engagement

 

POSITION PURPOSE

The Head of Social Action, Global Citizenship and Engagement will actively influence the quality and advancement of strong, ongoing relationships and partnerships with the Social Justice & Philanthropic community; developing and facilitating sustainable programs that will support the College’s Service framework. 

The Head of Social Action, Global Citizenship and Engagement has the responsibility for strengthening resources and external supports for the St Leonard’s College Social Action engagement. 

The Head of Social Action, Global Citizenship and Engagement will provide dynamic and innovative leadership and direction, set high expectations and ensure excellence in the quality of the Social Action programme.

The Head of Social Action, Global Citizenship and Engagement will actively promote awareness about Social Justice issues and assist the College in determining the relevant outreach, non-profit and awareness programs and how to best become socially responsive to the needs of our local, national and global communities.

POSITION STATUS

This is initially a contract part time role, approximate Full Time Equivalent, FTE 0.8, with five weeks’ annual leave taken during term breaks.

The role commences Wednesday 22 January 2020, the new staff induction day
