The Director of City Futures seeks an experienced and dynamic Executive Assistant for a busy and diverse Department that spans teams including City Development (Urban Planning, Building, Environmental Health),  City Change (ESD, Transport, Development Advice, Waste Strategy), City Strategy and Design (Urban Design, Strategy, Amendments, Research, Housing and Community Infrastructure Framework). 

As a vital member of the Department’s leadership team you will support the Director of City Futures with a full range of administrative and executive functions, while playing a key role in achievement of Council policies, improved service levels and corporate standards. 

You will be proactive in anticipating the needs of the Director, be organised and display good judgment, initiative and diplomacy skills along with good governance awareness.

If you have delivered similar support to a senior executive and possess the necessary skills to undertake this position, your application is encouraged.
