Festivals and Events Officer
- Salary: $70,535 to $81,047 per annum + Monthly ADO + Superannuation

Are you a creative and enthusiastic professional who thrives in an arts and culture environment with tight deadlines and regular interaction with internal staff, external stakeholders and customers?
If you are passionate about providing high quality events for the community than we have an exciting permanent full time opportunity for you as a Festival and Events Officer in a collaborative and innovative unit of Council.
As a Festival and Events Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing arts and culture programs such as festivals, events and grants. This will involve creating and strengthening relationships with a variety of stakeholders, promoting community involvement, identifying funding opportunities and developing project briefs, sponsorship proposals and events reports. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking to utilise their creative and organisational skills and passion for arts and culture.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter who thrives under pressure and has the ability to positively contribute in a motivated team environment. You will have strong communication and time management skills, as well as sound problem solving and organisational abilities. Additionally you will have previous experience in the programming and development of engaging and well-attended arts and culture events or festival programs.
