As an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Advisor you’ll partner with internal units of the organisation to:
Increase health and safety leadership
Implement a safety focused mindset
Highlighting opportunities for enhancement and recommend preventative measures
Co-ordinate and lead activities with stakeholders to ensure understanding, compliance of safety needs & risk assessment and hazard identification
This is a permanent full time position with a salary of $88,661 to $96,020 per annum + 10% superannuation + a monthly ADO. Consideration may be given to flexible or part time arrangements of 30+ hours per week (for example 4 days instead of 5; 5 days but shorter hours, etc).
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have:
Considerable previous experience as a Safety / OH&S Advisor
A tertiary qualification in OH&S or related field
Well-developed knowledge of OH&S legislation
A history of building collaborative and constructive relationships with management, team leaders and staff at all levels.
A a safety auditor qualification is highly desirable
