The Position:

Is to provide professional support to the organisation using contemporary HR practices, ensuring statutory compliance while also being flexible and responsive to organisational needs.  This position is a key member of Council’s HR Business Partners team and will provide advice and support to staff at all level of the organisation. The incumbent will also assists with job evaluation, job design and identification of training needs; development of position descriptions; identifying and establishing training opportunities within Council and a range of project work

Remuneration:

• $61,675 per annum (Graduate Scale)
• Up to 12% Council Superannuation Contribution (Local Government Conditions apply to superannuation)
• 3 weekly Rostered days off

To be successful you will need:

• Tertiary level qualifications in human resources or a related discipline and/or previous experience in HR generalist functions.
• Experience in the provision of HR operational advice to leaders including employment conditions.
• Ability to build relationships with internal customers and stakeholders as well as external organisations I agencies.
