What will you contribute to? 

An exciting opportunity has recently become available for a well-organised, motivated, and diligent HR Coordinator to join the People and Culture Team. This is a part-time parental leave role on Thursdays and Fridays until Friday 3 May 2024. The People and Culture Coordinator role reports to the People and Culture Manager and contributes to varied human resources functions and processes including performance management, recruitment, and selection, training, and onboarding.

How will you make an impact? 

In this high-performing fast-paced team, we are looking for an exemplary team player who shares our passion for delivering superb business results through the development and growth of people. A fantastic opportunity for a recent HR Graduate, or someone with a few years of foundational understanding, you will deliver value on a range of activities across the Talent Lifecycle that support and enable the QAL strategic pillars. 

Key Deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to; 

  • Coordinate the talent acquisition process by assisting hiring managers in shortlisting candidates, designing interview guides, performing reference checks, as well as developing and issuing employment contracts. 
  • Develop and maintain new starter onboarding programs, including face-to-face sessions.  
  • Coordinate separation process for employees (including liaising with Payroll, Finance, Technology and Leaders) to successfully off-board employees from the business.  
  • Carry out administrative functions including but not limited to; data entry, reporting and maintenance in relevant HRIS to ensure records are accurate and up to date.  
  • HRIS maintenance, testing, data checks, fault-finding, resolution and managing user access. 
  • Support the P&C Managers in the delivery and rollout of P&C-related systems including process and quality management.  
  • Coordinate P&C training and information sessions (i.e., Skyward Bound, Munch N Muse, general training) as required.  
  • Identify and coordinate QAL Compulsory Training through the online Learning Management System (LMS) in line with QAL’s ‘Compulsory Training Matrix, including regular reporting for Leaders.  
  • Coordinate and supervise internships and work experience opportunities through our educational partnerships.  
  • General administrative duties such as minute taking, diary and meeting coordination of Leader, event planning, email management and travel bookings.  

What you will bring to the role?

  • Optional experience in an HR or administrative role. 
  • Ideally holding qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organisational Development, Change Management or Behavioural Sciences. 
  • Analytical and critical thinking competencies. 
  • Outstanding attention to detail and motivated self-starter.
