The health and wellbeing of our workforce and effective support following workplace injury, is the focus of TNT’s Injury Management team. Reporting to the National Injury Manager, as an Injury Management Advisor based at Tullamarine, you will facilitate early injury management intervention in the VIC, TAS & NT regions.  

The Injury Management Advisor is responsible for: 

• Driving immediate injury management intervention
• Guide and lead regional injury management team
• Proactively develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation programs
• Educate and support line managers in early intervention strategies and expectations
• Provide accurate and timely reports regarding injury management and rehabilitation activity on a monthly basis
• Work with TNT National Injury Manager to ensure TNT’s compliance with self-insurance license requirements
• Work closely with the OHS and workers compensation teams

As an Injury Management Advisor you will have: 

• Minimum two years’ experience within a similar position
• Tertiary qualifications in an allied health field  
• Understanding and working knowledge of the SRC Act 1988 and state compensation and rehabilitation legislation, codes of practice and industry standards
• Enthusiasm for and experience in workplace health promotion
• Return to work coordination or injury management experience
• Outstanding communication skills along with an ability to negotiate, counsel and problem solve
• Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
• Available to travel regionally
