One of Australia’s most reputable and innovative Government Departments is looking to engage an enthusiastic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead staff through change initiatives in HR policy and procedures within the department. The successful Human Resources Manager will be offered an Initial contract until August 2020 with possible view for extensions!!
The successful Human Resources Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to;
- Acting as a conduit for designated business areas to facilitate the resolution of day to day HR management issues
- Providing practical advice and strategic options and solutions to designated business areas across a wide range of HR management topics
- Lead or operate within a team engaged in project work related to the development and implementation of HR policy
- Work in partnership with other section within PSB to ensure a strategic and consistent approach to the application of HR policy/ guidelines
The successful Human Resources Manager must have experience in the following;
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of quality client service and the ability to implement effective strategies in support of these principles.
- Demonstrated experience in producing high level written reports and correspondence.
- Previous experience implementing principles of workplace diversity, WH&S and participative work practices
- Demonstrated previous experience developing staff and achieving outcomes against organisational change objectives..
