About the role

The Design Lead provides a pivotal role in the transformation of key Services Network projects, acting as the key design partner for new, high-priority programs and identified existing programs requiring significant change in service, business and/or workforce models.

Working with relevant project leaders, the Design Lead plays a critical role in developing a culture that embraces change and transforms cohealth's operations to align with the principles of value-based healthcare. The role also works collaboratively with the Director PE and PE team to: support the definition of project value and scoping, strengthen project management capabilities, use collaborative problem solving and business analysis to navigate challenges to service, business and workforce model design, and promote sound project governance.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Relevant qualifications in Health, Business, Organisational Change, Design or Project Management
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in leading complex projects, including evidence of planning, implementation, evaluation and project governance
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear and pragmatic leadership within an organisation experiencing significant change
  • Demonstrated ability to design service and operating models within a community-based healthcare setting that deliver significant value for communities and funders and are evidence-based and financially sustainable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, untangle and communicate ambiguous concepts and complex problems, to result in the development of projects that deliver tangible healthcare and business value
  • Demonstrated experience in leading significant change
  • A collaborative and facilitative approach to negotiation and a humble approach to success
  • Exceptional communication and liaison skills with people from diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, cultures and capabilities.
