People & Culture Business Partner - Vic/Tas

We have a great opportunity available for an experienced People and Culture/HR Generalist to join our People and Culture team at our Head office in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering, you will play a key role in delivering on our National People and Culture Strategy, partnering with the State Manager and State Ops teams to develop people initiatives.

As an experienced People and Culture Business Partner, you will be responsible for the following;

  • Develop and implement People and Culture strategy across Vic/Tas
  • Review engagement survey results to develop initiatives for your division
  • Deliver training programs as per Learning and Development framework
  • Develop talent matrix and succession plans
  • Manage remuneration reviews in line with company timelines and business needs
  • Develop initiatives to enhance and promote engagement across our teams, identifying key talent
  • Manage complaints and workplace investigations
  • Be a point of contact and support for all ER matters
  • Assist with the implementation of Enterprise Bargaining Agreement Outcomes
  • Provide Performance Management Advice to State Operations team

The preferred candidate will have the following skills and experience.

  • Experience in successfully managing difficult ER matters
  • Proven success in talent management processes and succession planning
  • Previous HR Advisor experience
  • Solid understanding of current legislation and HR practices
  • Strong influencing and coaching skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management is preferred
  • Retail/FMCG experience is preferred
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at pace and manage and prioritise multiple and competing demands
