Reporting to the Executive Manager People & Quality the purpose of this role is to lead a small team to design best practice organisational development strategies to create the culture and capabilities desired for Activ in the future. The role is responsible for a broad portfolio including culture, talent management, leadership, and succession planning and internal communications. A key part of this role is effective stakeholder management with senior leaders and peers across the organisation. Including partnering across the People & Quality Leadership team to ensure implementation and evaluation of strategic iniatives.

Key duties include:

  • Effectively create and deliver the OD strategy as part of the overall People & Quality plan through consultation with key business stakeholders
  • Leading a small team to create and refine strategic Organisational Development initiatives across the employment lifecycle
  • Working closely with senior managers and executives to provide specialist guidance regarding the management and implementation of cultural change initatives across the organisation
  • Working in consultation with leaders to assess team culture and design team transformation and development initiatives

What you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Organisational Psychology, Human Resource Management, Education or related disciplines
  • Accreditations or experience in Leadership 360, coaching and psychometric and ability assessments (Human Synergistics LSI desired)
  • A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience as an OD specialist within a medium organisation, along with a solid understanding of key related HR areas
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an OD Manager leading a small team
  • Specific experience developing culture change plans and leadership development frameworks
