Senior HR Business Partner Supply Chain and Operations

We’re on the hunt for a collaborative people leader to join our Snack Brands Australia team in the role of Senior Human Resources BP – Supply Chain & Operations. Reporting to the Human Resources Director ANZ, this exciting role will be based in our Blacktown site on a contractual basis for 2 years working full time hours with frequent travel to our other sites based in Smithfield, Norwest and Orchard Hills.

The Senior Human Resources BP partners closely with members of the Australia and New Zealand HR team and Supply Chain & Operations stakeholders. The role is responsible for HR business partnering across Australian Supply Chain and Operations. You will support the design and implementation of people strategies and activities to deliver outcomes aligned to the Supply Chain and Operations annual and strategic plans and the overall business strategic plan.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Provide leadership support to the HR team around key areas (policies and procedures, objective setting, reward and recognition, performance management, talent management, employee engagement, leadership development)
  • Support the design and implementation of people strategies and activities.
  • Provide strategic, value-add business partnerships
  • Develop, monitor and build organisational capability
  • Implement training, learning & development requirements as needed
  • Execution of strategic HR initiatives
  • Provide leadership and coaching, implementation of change and improvement guidance & assistance
  • Manage external relationships including Unions and vendors
  • Ability to co-design and support the implementation of operating plans to attract, motivate and retain employees and drive desired business performance outcomes

What you’ll bring to the role?

  • Ideally 10 years’ experience in a senior level HR experience within Manufacturing/Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated experience working within a unionised environment.
  • Proven experience in driving HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Strong understanding of industrial relations and legislative compliance
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills,
  • Ability to deliver value-added insights from HR metrics and trends.
  • Ideally you have led and executed HR projects.
  • High levels of integrity and accountability - you own your decisions and can be counted on to do what you say you will
  • Solutions focused approach – Nothing is ever a problem!
