Organisational Change Manager 

The Primary Purpose of the Change Management Lead role is to :

  1. Lead the development of the change management strategy and the deployment effort to support the Change Portfolio
  2. Lead the alignment of the various change initiatives with broader organisational people and change objectives

Your resposibilities will incluude:

  1. Develop a comprehensive and integrated change management plan that focuses on effectively managing the people related impacts of the portfolio
  2. Lead the change management team to identify detailed people change impacts & map these to comprehensive change implementation and communication plans
  3. Lead the change management team to develop and manage a comprehensive stakeholder engagement approach.
  4. Through consultation with Portfolio and Program Managers develop and implement change management standards
  5. Work collaboratively with line management in deploying the change management approach
  6. Coach and support Change Managers and Business Managers to increase the level of Change Management capability
  7. Provide support and guidance to the change portfolio team in relation to change readiness, change risk management and change strategy integration.
  8. Provide quality assurance of change management artefacts produced by the change team.
  9. Contribute to readiness assessments, BAU handover and embedding processes as required
  10. Report to the Principal Manager, Strategic Business Improvement on the progress of deliverables and manage any risks and issues associated with the change.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Proven detailed understanding of sustainable change management methodologies and frameworks
  • Extensive change management experience, preferably within a Rail Services Provider, State Government Agency or Heavy Infrastructure Maintainer
  • Demonstrated experience as a change lead in pipelines of business transformation with extensive experience across the full business restructure lifecycle, particularly related to Human Resources and Industrial Relations processes.
  • Experience working in both business and technology Portfolio, Program and Project environments with a delivery focus and an ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment undergoing high levels of change
  • Demonstrated senior and executive level stakeholder management and engagement experience
  • Demonstrable ability to develop innovative solutions to support change and organisational communication activities.
  • Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem solving, issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, consultation, negotiation and reporting/presentation and interpersonal skills, including a proven record of success in influencing and negotiating with multiple stakeholders at all levels, and manage and resolve complex issues and disputes.
