About this opportunity

This is a newly created, permanent full time position which is based at our Group Head Office in East Maitland. In this position, you will have an uncommon opportunity to truly mould and guide a quality improvement culture through expertly designed and delivered safety and risk frameworks.

We have an aggressive growth strategy and plan to grow from 94 dental centres to 250 over the next few years, which will require you to, not only develop and implement enterprise level risk management and workplace health & safety, processes and systems, but also the educate and empower our business leaders to use these tools to protect our people and patients.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation and planning of quality, safety or risk management systems.
  • True leadership skills including coaching and mentoring for development and performance.
  • Ability to collect, analyse and present data related to quality and safety in healthcare and facilitate actions to address identified issues
  • Tertiary qualifications in governance/risk/safety or equivalent
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to effectively liaise and collaborate with all elements of the organisation, as well as external partners and potential vendors, as required.

Above all, you must be an energised self-starter who is passionate about safety and capable of driving scalable change and improvement at all levels with the utmost importance of our people at heart.
