About CareFlight

CareFlight was founded in 1986 as an aeromedical charity with the mission to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community. Today, we deliver services nationally. Our critical care doctors, paramedics and nurses are specially trained in emergency and trauma, pre-hospital and remote medicine and we use helicopters, jet aircraft, turbo-prop planes and road vehicles to reach and treat patients wherever they are.

The role

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Human Resources Coordinator based at our Headquarters in Northmead. Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner and working withing the Human Resources team you will: 

  • provide generalist human resources support to CareFlight’s business units and administrative support to HR processes, procedures and systems;
  • coordinate and participate in end-to-end recruitment and selection process;
  • collate and provide ongoing payroll related information;
  • generate employment contracts and a range of other employment related correspondence; and
  • provide excellent customer service and candidate care to make a positive contribution to our organisation’s culture.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • tertiary qualifications, preferably in Human Resources Management or similar (or currently studying);
  • proven HR generalist experience in a similar role
  • intermediate to advanced level skills in Word and Excel;
  • a good understanding of HR systems, processes and procedures;
  • previous exposure to recruitment and selection processes and practices;
  • sound judgement and the ability to work well with people at all levels, maintain confidentiality and develop effective working relationships with others;
  • excellent communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail;
  • an awareness and working knowledge of employment related legislation;
  • the ability to handle a busy workload with meet deadlines and have the willingness to work reasonable additional hours to get the job done; and
  • the ability to be able to work from CareFlight’s other locations as required.

The following will be highly regarded:

  • Previous experience using HRIS;
  • Prior experience gained in the not-for-profit, aviation or health sectors.
