About the role
A rare opportunity has become available within the award winning HR Department at ICC Sydney.
Join the Employee Relations team as ICC Sydney’s Human Resource Coordinator where you will act as the first point of contact for team members providing general information regarding policy interpretation, current legislation, EAP concerns, benefits, payroll and data management and integrity.
Reporting to the Human Resource Manager, this role is fast paced and challenging, requiring an individual who can work with a high degree of integrity, autonomy and flexibility all with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

About your experience

You will present with at least 1 year experience in a frontline HR role within the Hospitality, Events or Retail industry. As a talented and passionate HR professional, you will showcase your demonstrated experience working with employee engagement programs; Workers Compensation; Visas and Performance Management. Additionally, you will have a positive, engaging attitude, a willingness to learn and a commitment to your HR career and the desire to be part of a world-class, award winning venue and team. In addition, you will fulfil the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or similar discipline.
  • The ability to handle and resolve conflict effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Computer packages.
  • Current knowledge of Human Resources trends.
  • Proven ability to use initiative.
  • Flexibility with working hours.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholder to achieve advantageous outcomes.
