The Opportunity
We are currently searching for an experienced and enthusiastic people professional to join our busy People & Culture Team as a People & Culture Business Partner. This role is based on site at Dreamworld in Coomera.

Reporting to the General Manager - People & Culture, this hands-on role is responsible for providing generalist human resources support across a diverse range of business units, through the implementation of best practice human resource initiatives and advice covering the entire employee life-cycle. The role will also include a portion of project work.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the business to deliver key business initiatives, whilst optimising opportunities to educate stakeholders across the business on best practice people management
  • Providing advice and active involvement in employee and industrial matters, and general HR policy and process interpretation
  • Coach and assist our leaders with best in class recruitment and selection decisions for all new hires (including volume recruitment), acting as a custodian of our culture and process and participating in recruitment and selection activities 
  • Actively involvement in HR projects and a wide range of ‘value add’ people initiatives

About you
You will have proven HR generalist experience in a dynamic, fast paced and diverse business in a similar role. Ideally you will have a strong practical knowledge of industrial relations processes in a multi-disciplinary environment.

The ability to build strong working relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels within the organisation will be essential, coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be self-motivated, and have the ability to develop solutions for a wide range of workplace matters, whilst working under pressure of competing demands and multiple objectives.
