Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), the national peak body for the speech pathology profession in Australia, is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of People and Culture Coordinator. 

SPA represents more than 12,000 members, with its National Office based in Melbourne and a team of approximately 50 staff members. The position of People and Culture Coordinator is a new role at two days per week with potential to increase in the future subject to the requirements of the role and Board approval. 

The People and Culture Coordinator will: 

  • manage the overall provision of People and Culture, expert advice, guidance and support across the organisation 
  • work collaboratively with the SPA Leadership team to provide support, co-ordination, and administration to deliver a full range of HR services to SPA
  • work across specific duties including but not limited to the SPA HR Policy Framework, Recruitment and On-Boarding, OHS and WorkCover, Performance Management, Training and Development, General HR Support, HR and Payroll Administration, and Continuous Improvement
