ABOUT THE POSITION

Working closely with the Group Human Resources Manager and the WHS Manager you will be responsible for partnering with site based senior leadership teams across our eleven sites to further develop and drive Health, Wellbeing and Fitness for Work strategies, policies, processes, programs and systems; managing employees fitness for work throughout the employment life cycle; compensable and non-compensable injuries and existing and new health and well-being initiatives.

Blacktown location.

ABOUT YOU

You will have passion for workplace Health and Wellbeing, experience in Workers Compensation and Injury Management and motivated to hold a senior leadership position responsible for these areas.

• Proven experience in similar role at a senior leadership level for a minimum of two years;
• Tertiary Qualifications in WHS desirable but not essential;
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable but not essential;
• Proven experience in Metal, Manufacturing, Construction or Mining Industry.
• Previous experience working in a stand alone capacity;
• Ability to build relationships and work well under pressure;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to attain and retain fitness for work (including clear Drug and Alcohol Screens);
• Currently have the right to work in Australia;
• Pass a Police Check.
