Reporting to the Regional HR Manager Southern and a member of the wider Group People & Safety Team, you will work closely with leadership teams at two different Plants providing operational HR support and advice to managers and supervisors in the southern region with the opportunity to take on a leadership role at the Mataura Plant and make it ‘your own’. This varied and busy operational role will be involved in everything HR from recruitment, coaching, training and development, performance management and all aspects of employee and industrial relations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to and support the delivery of the company-wide HR Strategy, driving performance improvement and operational success.

 

We seek an experienced HR professional who is a strong team player, resilient, has a 'can-do' attitude and who is on their way up in their career. An ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organisation, strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and proficiency with Information Technology applications are essential for this full-time permanent role. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoy coaching people managers and have outstanding organisational skills that enable them to prioritise and work autonomously. Ideally you will have at least two years HR Advisory experience and a relevant qualification.  Some experience in an industrial or manufacturing related sector could be advantageous.
