We have two permanent opportunities in our North Ryde head office for energetic and agile People & Culture Advisors to join Boral’s P & C Partnering team. Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, you will receive ongoing mentoring and guidance from experienced senior leaders and will be responsible for supporting leaders of our operational businesses to enable them to achieve business objectives and develop their people.

Your valued contributions will include supporting processes across the annual P & C lifecycle, assisting with grievance and disciplinary investigations and varied project work across various areas including leadership, diversity, engagement and industrial relations. You will be responsible for supporting and enabling our leaders through Boral’s journey of improvement and change.

Your day will involve: 

  • Provide advice and support to leaders in relation to disciplinary matters and investigations
  • Provide support to the P&C Business Partners in relation reporting, analysis and projects
  • Supporting the practical implementation of P & C annual plans
  • Facilitate annual cycle activities across Performance & Reward, IR and Talent & Capability
  • Responding to and resolving complaints or disputes
  • Enabling leaders to fulfil their responsibilities through dedicated coaching and guidance
  • Provide EA and Award interpretation and advice to leaders and employees 

What are we looking for? 

  • Exposure to working within a large, multi-site, industrial business, ideally with EA-covered workforces
  • Employee relations experience and supporting leaders with disciplinary and performance management processes
  • Experience contributing to various P&C projects
  • An autonomous and accountable work ethic coupled with a growth mindset and a collaborative approach
  • Adaptability, a curious mind and the confidence to lead and support challenging people conversations
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Humanities, Business/Commerce, Law or Psychology
