Health and Safety Business Partner
Your next opportunity
With safety prioritised above all else at Boral, we look out for each other and are committed to zero harm across our vast, vertically-integrated national business. An opportunity exists for a proactive and passionate Health & Safety Business Partner to join our national Health and Safety team, supporting a cluster of sites within our Brisbane and Gold Coast Concrete, Quarries, Asphalt & Recycling businesses.
Reporting to a Senior Health & Safety Business Partner, the primary focus is to support our operational teams to be more effective in their roles, in turn creating a safer workplace for all. You will assist with driving, facilitating and implementing significant and meaningful health and safety improvements across a diversified operational portfolio. Operating as a true business partner, you will relish the opportunity to travel to site on a regular basis to engage with leaders and employees on site and really understand their challenges, creating learning opportunities from issues and incidents to enable them to perform more effectively. A central part of this role is to build an intimate understanding of our operations and forge strong and lasting relationships with stakeholders so as to drive good safety outcomes.
This is indeed a rare and unique opportunity to join a large business taking a different approach to safety by shifting focus towards the integral role of the health and safety function in helping operational teams to be more effective.
