About Village Roadshow:

About the role: 

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior People & Culture leader to join the team at Village Roadshow. 

You will play a key role in leading our core People & Culture, Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition functions and will be integral to the development and execution of the people strategy for Village Roadshow.  You will be essential supporting people initiatives within the business. You will be an inspiring leader who can guide the People & Culture Team. 

You will work closely with Senior Executives across the Corporate, Film Distribution and Entertainment Divisions to establish and drive the organisation’s people strategy and partner with business leaders to grow and maintain a positive, engaged and empowered workplace culture.

About you: 

We are looking for an established HR leader who is passionate about leading and developing a high performing People & Culture team with expertise in HR advisory, business partnering and talent acquisition.

Ideally, you have experience working in the retail, hospitality, entertainment, or media industry and have previously led a People & Culture team who provides support to both corporate and customer-facing workforces.

The key qualifications, skills, and competencies we are seeking in the successful candidate include:  

• Extensive and demonstrable experience in a Head of HR role (or similar role)
• Relevant qualifications in Human Resources Management, organisational psychology/development, or related field. 
• Extensive knowledge in HR practices and expertise in HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and organisational culture.
• Commercially astute with the ability to demonstrate ROI in people practices and strategic people initiatives. 
• Technologically savvy to drive efficiencies and to engage the workforce through innovations in technology solutions. 
• Proven ability to develop strong, trusting relationships with the business and key stakeholders.
