People & Culture Business Partner

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Partner to join our People & Culture team in Rugby League Central. The key responsibilities will be to provide accurate and timely advice to functional managers within your business units of responsibility, build and maintain strong relationships and accurate human resources knowledge to manage risk and assist the business units to achieve organisation objectives.

Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Designing, delivering and updating strategic programs and activities for employees using a variety of delivery methods.
  • Providing advice and assistance on policies and procedures.
  • Partnering with managers to build their leadership capability in the management of employees and the delivery of their programs.
  • Assist the Senior People & Culture Manager on selected projects.
Required:
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR
  • Proven experience as a People & Culture / HR Business Partner
  • Excellent influencing and coaching capability
  • Extensive knowledge of Fair Work Australia and Employment Law
  • The ability to prioritize and be a self-starter
  • The ability to multi-task and problem solve, using initiative
  • Ability to build quality relationships quickly
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Be well presented with great communication skills
