People & Culture Coordinator

YWCA Australia is currently seeking a dedicated People & Culture Coordinator to join our People & Culture Team. This role is offered on a full time basis and has the opportunity to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Toowoomba or Adelaide.

The People & Culture Coordinator plays a key role in administering YWCA Australia's employment life-cycle processes to ensure a positive employee experience, including recruitment, onboarding, employment variations, learning and development and employee departures. Demonstrating a high level of competency in digital and systems processes, this role provides first level support to all YWCA employee enquiries and may work in conjunction with the People & Culture Partners on more complex matters. Working as an active member of the  team, the People & Culture Coordinator also contributes to project work within the department and within the wider organisation.


The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:

  • Demonstrated expertise and high proficiency in people systems such as digital recruitment platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and payroll systems
  • High attention to detail and organisation skills
  • Demonstrated experience performing HR administrative functions
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Experience in an operational HR generalist role preferred
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline preferred
  • Demonstrated alignment with YWCA's values
  • A results orientation, be self-motivated who goes above and beyond.

This position will require the applicant to satisfactorily complete a national criminal history record check and hold the relevant state based working with vulnerable persons permit prior to employment.
