Your Community Health is seeking an experienced People and Culture General Manager to join the Leadership Team and lead the People & Culture function on an ongoing, full-time basis.

About us

Your Community Health provides a comprehensive range of medical, dental and allied health services and support programs to anyone, through a combination of outreach, client-based and centre-based activities. Our purpose is to enable health, wellbeing and dignity for all people in northern Melbourne by providing responsive and accessible services. We provide priority access to those most at risk of health inequalities and those that may face barriers to accessing traditional health services.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the People and Culture General Manager will be pivotal in supporting the organisation and is responsible for implementing strategic and operational People and Culture initiatives to support the achievement of Your Community Health's objectives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organisation prioritising growth opportunities in the provision of health services to clients and the community.

Leading a small team, your passion and commitment will see you manage the development and delivery of solutions including:

  • People and Culture projects and programs
  • Policy initiatives
  • Employee/industrial relations
  • Learning and Development

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Relevant human resources qualifications
  • Leadership and management experience in People and Culture/Human Resources
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in a similar role within a health, community or social services setting
