Bindaree Food Group (BFG) is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions both domestically and internationally and has solidified its position as a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry. Domestically, the group employees approximately 1300 team members across paddock to plate operations, including two abattoirs, a feedlot, a retail ready processing facility, cold store warehouse and corporate offices. We also have a small footprint of team members in SE Asia and Europe.
Job Description
Reporting to the Chief People Officer as our Head of P&C, you will lead and drive results from hire to retire across our group. In addition to leading a high performing and passionate P&C team, over the next 12 months we have some exciting projects, including the creation and implementation of a new leadership development program, a focus on data driven operational P&C and implementing a time and attendance system.
You will directly lead 8 - 9 reports including P&C site leads, Organisational Development Manager, Employer Branding Manager and Talent Acquisition. Indirectly, you will lead a team of approx. 25.
Our sites are based in Brisbane, Burleigh Heads, Inverell, Croppa Creek, Sydney and Cooma. As a visible member of our senior leadership team, you will be required to travel every 4 - 6 weeks to our major processing sites at Inverell and Cooma.
Desired Skills and Experience

- You have strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices and legislation, including experience with Modern Awards and EBAs;

- You are driven by results and able to manage multiple priorities;
- Experience in implementing leadership development programs and working with P&C data (BI) will be highly regarded.
