About the Role
Open to both Full-time and Part-time applicants, we are seeking an experienced Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our award-winning team.
Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will play an important role providing HR generalist advice and services, supporting the implementation of key HR initiatives and projects, and partnering with department leaders to achieve the Club’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department leaders to provide tailored HR advice, including resolving employee relations matters.
- Deliver end-to-end workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, induction, and offboarding processes.
- Support the design and implementation of training and development programs to enhance capability.
- Deliver effective employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition programs to promote employee retention.
- Champion and support designated HR projects and initiatives by articulating their value and ensuring smooth delivery.
- Actively support and participate in cultural and social programs to enhance employee connection.
- Ensure compliance with Australian employment law and Club Policy.
About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who has:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- A strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven success in HR project delivery and/or business partnering, ideally within a generalist HR role.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills across all organisational levels.
- A proactive approach to resolving HR issues with sound judgement and decision-making capabilities.
- A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive matters.
- Flexibility to work on match days and events, as required.
- A valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain them.
