The Role

St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc is searching for a suitably qualified and experienced WHS Business Partner to join its growing People and Culture Team. 

Reporting directly to the HR and Safety Manager, the WHS Business Partner will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of a proactive safety culture across the organisation that promotes the safety and wellbeing of all staff through appropriate WHS policy, procedure, training and development. This role provides WHS advice, services and support to St John NT’s managers, stakeholders and employees. This role is also responsible for the supervision of a small team of staff including the WHS Field Officer and WHS Trainee.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Minimum Diploma in WHS or equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years' relevant work experience predominantly as a WHS Advisor or Business Partner (Office-Based)
• Highly developed communication, consultation and negotiation skills
• Experience with Workforce Management Systems
• Advanced technology literacy skills
• An Ochre Card and OHS White Card
