About the role:

The People & Culture Systems and Insights Analyst will deliver accurate and meaningful HR related data insights to a range of audiences to support strategic decision-making. This includes developing a scope and working with relevant partners and systems to implement new reporting capabilities whist improving current reporting deliverables. A key element of the role is understanding the business requirements around workflows and analytics.

In this role, you’ll be:

  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and data governance
  • Reviewing and analysing data and reporting to identify patterns, trends, and areas of opportunity for manager action or HR process optimisation and improvement
  • Using advanced statistical and analytical techniques to uncover insights from HR data, such as employee engagement, turnover, recruitment, and performance
  • Working with the Technology team to find the most efficient use of extracting data from HR Systems into Alinta Data Hub (ADH). Ensure that your functional and technical designs align with internal IT standards and data privacy considerations
  • Part of a project team that will implement new software/systems to develop the People & Culture support offering
  • Keeping up to date on knowledge of various automation tools and process management software available.

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

  • 7 years’ experience of hands-on experience conducting comprehensive testing of software systems
  • Previous experience in HR systems and databases and working within a HR function
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills, with expertise in statistical analysis and data modelling
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Software development skills (JavaScript, React, HTML, SQL)
  • Experience with setting up API’s
  • Experience implementing new systems and software packages
  • A highly organised and efficient approach
