Administrative staff in CSIRO provide administrative and management services to support the effective provision of research and development activities. This involves the development and implementation and/or administration of policies, systems and procedures that assist the organisation and the business units to achieve their objectives and meet Government and regulatory responsibilities.
In your role as the Executive Assistant (EA) to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), you will provide high level administrative support to the CDO and other senior stakeholders. It is expected that you will prioritise commitments, follow through on issues to a successful resolution, coordinate timely responses to requests, collect and analyse information, and facilitate the effective operation of the CDO’s office. With the Executive Officer, you will contribute to the drafting of documents, correspondence, and presentations.
Beyond day-to-day management of the administration needs of the CDO, you will ensure that effective systems of work are established within the CDO’s. It is expected that you will proactively assist the CDO in ensuring the early adoption of appropriate future ways of working.
This role would suit a person who is curious, professional, and tactful, detail oriented and willing to ensure outcomes are achieved in ambiguous situations.

Salary: AU$89,680 - AU$101,459 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
