HR Business Partner 

Location: East Coast of Tasmania, Australia
Salary: 100k - 110k + 14% super
Permanent part time opportunity 3-4 days per week

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide proactive, high-quality advice and support on a broad range of human resource matters. You will work closely with the leadership team to drive HR initiatives that support our client's vision and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on complex HR matters, including industrial relations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and legislative compliance.
  • Act as a key advisor on employment instruments such as Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and relevant legislation.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Act as a key advisor on employment instruments such as Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and relevant legislation.
  • Lead HR projects related to organizational culture, succession planning, and enterprise bargaining.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage employee relations, including handling grievances and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and manage workers' compensation cases.

About You:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role with significant knowledge of contemporary HR management practices.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations, industrial awards, and relevant legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR cases, including disputes and third-party adjudications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in policy development and project management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead, coach, and mentor staff.
  • Commitment to ethical behavior and promoting a positive workplace culture.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline with at least three years of experience in a similar role.
  • A current driver’s license.
