About the role

Working alongside the genuinely collaborative and passionate People & Culture team and East Gippsland Water people leaders, you will be responsible for providing support in all Human Resource (HR) functions across the organisation.

This role is one of variety, with no two days being the same. In this generalist position, the Human Resources (HR) Advisor will provide timely operational IR/ER advice and support to all staff in relation to workforce planning, job design, employee relations, performance management, remuneration, flexible work arrangements, transition to retirement, and conflict resolution.

This full time ongoing role is substantively based at our Bairnsdale Head Office, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements available. This is a unique development opportunity, and we are open to a secondment as well as supporting a recent graduate to build a fulfilling career in a dynamic industry.

About you

We are looking for a team member with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders both within and outside of our organisation, and across all levels of the business. This role will showcase your ability to prioritise activities, your highly developed administrative skills, and your collaborative approach to achieving outcomes.

We are looking for the right person who aligns with our organisational values, with a genuine interest in contributing to the ongoing success of the East Gippsland Water team. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator, show sound judgment in problem solving, be adaptable to effectively manage their own workload, respect confidentiality and value inclusion and diversity.

This role has been classified as per our Enterprise Agreement as Band 3 (mid-point from $78,977 per annum) plus 11% superannuation. Classification for this role will be subject to skills, qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
