Training Specialist
Grade: SNSW Grade 7/8. The package includes the base salary range of $92,788 - $109,396, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Location: Penrith, Gosford, Newcastle, Parramatta and remote roles (multiple roles and training functions).
Duration: Temporary and Permanent

Our customer-centric solution offers simpler and faster access to government transactions through our digital channels, a 24/7 phone service and an expanding network of service centres. We currently partner with over 50 agencies to offer over 1,000 NSW Government transactions.
The role:
We are looking for Training Specialist to form a talent pool for our high-performing training team. The successful candidate will be accountable for developing and delivering a range of project learning and development activities in relation to building individual and organisational capability, aligned with specific outcomes, business objectives and organisation wide strategies.
The training team is a large and diverse team and we are looking for a range of skills and experience to support different functions of the team.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong time management skills
- Excellent facilitation skills in delivering technical and soft skill programs
- Demonstrated sound oral and written communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Experience in managing stakeholder relationships
- Superior attention to detail
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or Project Management
- Experience in instructional design
- Experience with using Articulate 360 suite, Vyond, Canva and Camtasia
- Experience in delivering technical training
- Experience in using DRIVES, GLS, Salesforce Lightning and Customer Management System
Key Accountabilities
- Design highly interactive and engaging instructional content that integrates learning theories and instructional design methodologies
- Collaborate with the business to understand current training development requirements, analyse learning requirements and produce quality training/learning resources
- Develop and prepare high quality instructional materials, guides & other training collateral
- Write basic script for video learning, or other forms of microlearning
- Develop and maintain partnerships with staff and managers across Service NSW to provide a high level of learning and development services
- Actively contribute to the development of learning and development strategy, process and activities documentation
- Facilitate technical and soft skills training to a variety of audiences
Your remuneration
SNSW Grade 7/8 - The package includes the base salary range of $92,788, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
