Come and join our team working with two of our Erdi Properties. For the right candidate location could be in Geelong or Melbourne based. Managing our Talent and Culture function for Novotel Geelong and Saint Kilda Beach Hotel.
About you:
We are looking for a dynamic Human Resources professional that thinks outside the box while supporting our teams to be the best they can be. Reporting to both General Managers you are working as a standalone but with ongoing support and development - again best of both worlds!
Some key responsibilities are:
- Oversees implementation of all HR processes within area of responsibility, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, talent management, talent acquisition and retention, remuneration, workforce planning.
- Working with business leaders to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through T&C practices, processes, or policies.
- Counsels business leadership on the most effective solutions to resolve issues and support long-term objectives.
- Partner with the Director of Talent and Culture and business leaders to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through existing HR practices, processes, or policies in area of functional specialty.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary degree in Human Resources or relevant experience
- Experience in hospitality is an advantage however customer service experience is a must!
- Prior knowledge or experience in using HRIS and payroll systems. Ideally TANDA systems.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications is essential
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to interpret legislation, regulations, awards and policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders and build relationships
- Provide counselling and mediation of employees where necessary.
