HR Advisor (Generalist)

- 2 x Ongoing Full-Time roles
- Location: Sydney City
- Clerk Grade 7/8, Salary range $97,152.00 pa - $107,541.00 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

The Department of Communities and Justice share a common purpose across many areas of their work, particularly when it comes to improving outcomes for children and young people, Aboriginal people, people with disability, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people experiencing domestic and family violence, victims of sexual assault, juvenile offenders, people at high risk of reoffending, and people experiencing homelessness.
Working together for stronger communities means we can continue to deliver our services with a more unified and collaborative approach. This means a greater focus on prevention and early intervention, faster responses, more seamless operations, less duplication of effort and better outcomes.
These roles support two significant businesses within the department. Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery which manage and support the largest court and tribunal network in the country with 164 locations throughout the state. Law Reform & Legal Services deliver advice on law reform and legal matters, and provides advice and training on anti-discrimination and privacy and delivers a diverse range of legal information and services to the community of NSW.
Human Resources comprises of experts who work closely with business leaders to provide effective people practices which focus on employee engagement and creating a high performance culture.

As we are hiring for an HR Generalist we want to attract applicants who possess solid experience across a number of HR disciplines. You will have an absolute dedication to customer service and an ability to influence the business, an ability to research and investigate people related issues and have your advice be guided by facts, policies, legislation, and what is right for the business & its employees. We want you to be passionate about what you do, the value you can add and supporting your HR colleagues. We want you to champion our values, be hard working and deliver service and solutions that contribute to business outcomes. And last of all we want you to have fun and be able to generate ideas on how the business can do things better.
