An AMP executive who stood down after sexually harassing a staff member has secured a $937,724 bonus.

Boe Pahari was CEO of finance giant AMP for just 7 weeks when he stood down.

It came after Mr Pahari was accused by former AMP employee, Julia Szlakowski, of harassment. She said the company boss had flown her to London and asked repeatedly for her to use his credit card to buy clothes.

When she refused, her boss told her that she was effectively accusing him of having a “limp dick”.

She also said Mr Pahari would bombard her with late-night text messages and had used a homophobic slur to describe another employee.

But AMP’s annual report shows he still took home a $937,724 bonus, equivalent to more than $130,000 per week for his time as CEO.

Mr Pahari also earned $376,000 as a key management person when he was chief executive of AMP’s asset management division between July 1, 2020 and August 23, 2020.

It was after this that he was demoted following shareholder outrage over the company’s handling of the sexual harassment complaint.
