The Fair Work Ombudsman has announced the release of a new handbook aimed at giving employers a quick reference to assist in better understanding workplace relations obligations.

 

"As an employer or manager, you’re responsible for giving your employees their correct entitlements. It is important you’re aware of the Fair Work Act and understand your rights and obligations," the Ombudsman said in a statement.

 

The handbook provides an overview of the obligations that must be met by employers under the Fair Work Act. The Ombudsman said the tool will be essential in resolving workplace issues as they arise.
