The latest State of the Victorian Public Service (VPS) report has been released, detailed a range of interesting facts and stats about state-level bureaucrats.

It shows that while well-educated women now make up a full two-thirds of the public sector workforce, but are still outnumbered at the top levels.

The proportion of women in the public sector is up from 65.7 per cent in June 2006 to 67.1 per cent in June 2014, compared to just 46 per cent of the overall Victorian workforce.
