Complaints Resolution Officer

  • Full time 38 hour week / monthly RDO

Moreland City Council is changing its approach to the way it deals with complaints from residents and customers in response to recommendations by the Victorian Ombudsman and proposed amendments to the Victorian Local Government Act.

We are looking for an experienced complaints handling officer who preferably has experience in setting up complaints handling systems and integrating them into broader customer service processeses.

The successful applicant will have experience in staff training, and a good understanding of data capture and an ability to analyse complaints data for the purpose of business improvement. You will be experienced in investigating complex complaints and have first class oral and written communication skills.

This is an opportunity to set a benchmark for the Victorian Local Government sector in the establishment of new policy and procedure to deliver great outcomes for the community and improved performance by Council.
