ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the HR Officer, you will support administration activities across the employee lifecycle. The range of tasks are broad but typically have a focus on the creation of contracts, variations, employee record management, maintaining compliance related data (Police Checks, medicals, reference checks and visas), maintaining Council’s applicant tracking system (Scout) and being an initial point of call for recruitment and HR administration related queries.

This role is effectively a job share arrangement and we are looking for someone that is available to work Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s but we may consider that the role work over two days (Monday’s and Tuesday’s).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THIS ROLE 

  • Previous HR administration experience within a complex operating environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or administration field (desirable but not essential).
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and IT skills are critical.
  • Ability to adopt a flexible, adaptable approach to work to meet changing demands and service delivery approaches.
